Fuxi Style Guqin

Fuxi and Nuwa are regarded as the primordial ancestors of the Chinese. Inspired by phoenixes on paulownia, Fuxi cut wood for the body and twisted cords for strings, composing tunes to bless folks. This is the seven-string Fuxi-style guqin.
Made of century-old Chinese fir with traditional tile ash and raw lacquer, it took two years of handcraft. Minor wear never spoils its look or play. Well-played qins are precious, as wood gains mature resonance after long-term vibration.
